Derek and Mary have been going to Life for 12 years. There became a point where Derek came to Mary and told her he didn't know if marriage was going to work anymore. Through a series of events, they fought for their marriage and an encounter with Jesus left Derek saying "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
