We challenge the way people treat 1 Corinthians 13 as wedding-only words and reframe it as a practical guide for how we love one another in the church. We dig into agape love, why love outlasts spiritual gifts, and what it looks like to be present enough to truly see people.
• 1 Corinthians 13 as a community text not a marriage script
• love as the motive behind gifts, service, and spiritual maturity
• agape as one-way love that does not demand a return
• why love is the clearest evidence of a Spirit-filled life
• being present as a way of loving people well
• “thank you for seeing me” and the impact of small moments
• whether the world can show real selfless love
• the mirror metaphor and the hope of seeing God face to face
• loving the church through patience, humility, and trust
• seeking to understand someone’s story before correcting behavior
• what teens mean when they long for the old ways
• serving others as the path to joy and healing
